This recipe from the Golden Grind blog makes an easy snack that is not only delicious but highly nutritious. The balls are also helpful as a pre-workout snack.

4 scoops vanilla vegan protein
1 cup apple sauce
2 Tbsp coconut oil
½ cup raw cashews
1/3 cup of desiccated coconut
¼ cup flaked almonds
2 heaped Tbsp Golden Grind Turmeric Blend
½ tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp almond meal
1 pinch of black pepper
Chop the raw cashews and almonds.
Thoroughly combine the chopped nuts with all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Add the apple sauce and coconut, and mix into a dough.
Take one heaped Tbsp and roll into a ball about an inch in diameter.
Repeat with the rest of the mixture.
Lightly sprinkle some of the Turmeric Blend over the balls.
Store the balls in an air tight container in the fridge.
