“Teri” means gloss, and “yaki” means pan-fry. The sauce gives the meat a glossy shine, and the cooking method is to grill or pan-fry.
Teriyaki dishes usually include noodles. This recipe, suitable for two people, substitutes zucchinis for a different effect.
Preparation is quick and simple, and the meal can be cooked in only 5 or 6 minutes.
2 fish fillets
2 spring onions
4 cherry tomatoes
1 tsp ground ginger
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp honey
½ Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Spiralise the zucchini into ribbons like noodles.
Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
Mix chopped spring onions with the ginger, soy sauce, honey, and vinegar.
Fry the fish in the sauce for three minutes.
Add the zucchinis, tomatoes, and prawns, and fry for another three minutes.
