According to feng shui, many problems can be solved by giving the right attention to your home or workplace. These nine principles can guide your feng shui decisions.
Some things you can see and fix yourself, but for others, you may have to consult a feng shui specialist.
Know What You Want
First you must understand your desire for change, define your goals clearly, and be aware of the specific outcomes you want.
Consult a chart to identify the areas of your home where feng shui changes will have the most impact on your key issues.
Make a Path for Chi
Chi is air energy, so you must ensure the air flow is not blocked to any of your power spots.
Keep up a regular maintenance program for your home. Broken, faded or spoilt areas attract negative chi.
Get Rid of Clutter
Clutter will block the flow of chi, or direct it into the wrong areas. This can result in your efforts meeting with no success.
Remove Negative Influences
Feng shui is based on elements, so some elements which are good in one area will fight with the energy in another area.
Enhance Power Spots
As well as supporting the energy of each area, there are ways you can increase that energy, by decorations, painting, furnishing etc.
Work on Yourself
Don’t forget that you have your own personal chi, which must be balanced for complete wellness.
Observe the Results
Keep note of any changes you have made, and the results you see. Also, note any changes which seem to happen without your action. They may be in areas that need attention.
