This year Australias longest public holiday, the Easter Festival, will be celebrated from Friday 30 March to Monday 2 April.
A major feature is the Good Friday Appeal, which has run annually since 1942 to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital. However, there are hundreds of activities for the family all over Melbourne.
Look out for the Easter Bunny, who will be handing out easter eggs around your local shops and supermarkets.
