Sliced Pork With Egg-Fried Tofu

For a quick, easy stir-fry for two people, or one with a large appetite, this tasty protein-rich meal goes well with rice or noodles, sprinkled with spring onions and coriander.



    • 1 egg

    • 200g fresh tofu (doufu)

    • 200g sliced pork

    • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce

    • 1/4 cup water

    • spring onion, finely chopped, for garnish

    • fresh coriander, finely chopped, for garnish


    • Beat the egg.

    • Cut the tofu into small cubes.

    • Heat 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil, and fry the diced tofu until browned.

    • Carefully flip the tofu to brown both sides.

    • Pour in the beaten egg and scramble with a wooden spoon.

    • Move the tofu aside, add the sliced pork, and fry until it is no longer pink.

    • Add the oyster sauce and water.

    • Mix well, and simmer until the sauce begins to thicken.
