You can use any kind of minced meat, but there is nothing as convenient as tuna out of a can. That makes this dish simple to prepare for a family meal or your own snack.

    Ingredients

    • 450gm tin tuna in springwater
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 small red onion, diced
    • 1 cup coriander leaves
    • 1 Tbsp lime zest
    • 1/2 tsp curry paste or chilli paste
    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • 100g thin hokkien or Ramen noodles

    Method

    • Drain the tuna and break up with a fork.
    • Chop the noodles into 1 cm pieces.
    • Mix all the ingredients together.
    • Add a little flour if the mixture seems too wet.
    • Divide the mixture into four parts.
    • Roll each part into a ball, and flatten to make burgers.
    • Heat oil in frypan, and fry the burgers until they are cooked.
