They recently announced they are looking for freelance writers to contribute regular content to their website. If you have studied or are still studying, your experience could be valuable to newcomers.
You could be writing anything from guides to the best restaurants, music festivals or activities in your city, to informative pieces that help students navigate visa issues, renting, and future career.
Contributors can generally expect to be writing around 1-2 articles per week, with a higher volume of content in peak periods. Later in the year, you may be asked to contribute or edit content for their print guides.
Insider Guides offers $60 per article for shorter pieces of content, such as list-style articles. Long-form articles, or those requiring interviews and/or extensive research pay $80 each.
If you think this kind of work would suit you, go to insiderguides.com.au/write-for-insider-guides for more information.
To apply, email the editor Gemma Kaczerepa at gemma@insiderguides.com.au with your CV, a short cover letter, and a few writing samples.
